The Évora Municipal Chamber (Portuguese: Câmara Municipal de Évora) is the administrative authority in the municipality of Évora. It has 12 freguesias in its area of jurisdiction and is based in the city of Évora, on the Évora District. These freguesias are: Bacelo e Senhora da Saúde; Canaviais; Évora (São Mamede, Sé, São Pedro e Santo Antão); Malagueira e Horta das Figueiras; Nossa Senhora da Graça do Divor; Nossa Senhora da Tourega e Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe; Nossa Senhora de Machede; São Bento do Mato; São Manços e São Vicente do Pigeiro; São Miguel de Machede; São Sebastião da Giesteira e Nossa Senhora da Boa Fé and Torre de Coelheiros.

The Évora City Council is made up of 7 councillors, representing, currently, four different political forces. The first candidate on the list with the most votes in a municipal election or, in the event of a vacancy, the next candidate on the list, takes office as President of the Municipal Chamber.
