Říčany (Czech pronunciation: [ˈr̝iːtʃanɪ]; German: Ritschan) is a town in Prague-East District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 17,000 inhabitants.
According to the national Quality of Life Index, which has been comparing the standard of living in the cities and towns of the Czech Republic since 2018, the town is rated the best place to live in the country in all years.
