The 1975 Los Angeles Dodgers finished in second place, 20 games behind the Cincinnati Reds in the National League West. This would be long time manager Walter Alston's final full season in charge. Alston would step down towards the end of the 1976 season and was replaced by his third base coach Tommy Lasorda.
