The 2000–01 Asian Club Championship was the 20th edition of the annual international club football competition held in the AFC region (Asia). It determined that year's club champion of association football in Asia. It was also the last edition to feature the Kazakh top division champions at the time, as the Kazakhstan Football Federation were in the process of switching to UEFA membership.

Suwon Samsung Bluewings of South Korea won the final and became Asian champions for the first time, beating 1-0 Júbilo Iwata who were playing in their third consecutive final.
