The 2022 Auckland Council election was held in September and October 2022 by postal vote as part of the wider 2022 New Zealand local elections to elect members to sub-national councils and boards. Auckland Council governs the whole region, with 20 councillors and 1 mayor elected. 149 members of 21 local boards were also elected, as well as 35 members of licensing trusts.
