The 2024–25 Plunket Shield was the 96th season of the Plunket Shield, a domestic first-class cricket competition that was played in New Zealand. The tournament started on 11 November 2024, and concluded on 1 April 2025. Wellington were the defending champions, having won their 22nd title the previous season.
Northern Districts are the current champions, after defeating Otago to claim first place on the points table.
