The 2024–25 Sheffield Shield season was the 123rd season of the Australian inter-state domestic first-class cricket competition. Cricket Australia revealed the season fixtures in July of 2024. The season started on 8 October 2024 and the final was played on 26 March 2025. South Australia won the title, beating Queensland by 4 wickets in front of a large crowd at Karen Rolton Oval, breaking a 29 year drought.
