The 2025 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship (SHC) is the 138th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. The competition began on 19 April 2025 and is scheduled to end on 20 July 2025.
Clare entered the competition as the defending champion, having won a first All-Ireland SHC title since 2013. However, they were eliminated in the Munster championship, thus failing to defend their title.
Cork are widely considered the favourites; the team finished as runner-up in the previous edition of the competition and won the 2025 National Hurling League, but have not won an All-Ireland SHC title since 2005. Kilkenny (who have not won since 2015) and Limerick (winners in 2018 and in 2020–23) are also considered major contenders.
The final is scheduled to be played on 20 July at Croke Park in Dublin.
