46th Street station is an elevated SEPTA Metro rapid transit station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is located above the intersection of Farragut, 46th, and Market Streets in the Mill Creek and Walnut Hill neighborhoods of West Philadelphia, and serves the L.
The station is also served by SEPTA bus routes 31 and 64. There is a oddity, on old New Flyer Buses is that for Route 31 only, it announces that the 30 also serves here, but it doesn't, however, on Haverford Avenue, Route 30 does intersect with Route 64 at 48th Street & 46th Street. The newer buses use Clever Devices, which doesn't announce the 30. It's not known why. To also reach the 30, passengers must use the L to 40th Street Station.
