A Story of Floating Weeds (浮草物語, Ukigusa monogatari) is a 1934 silent film directed by Yasujirō Ozu; the film was later remade as the sound film Floating Weeds, in color in 1959. A Story of Floating Weeds won the Kinema Junpo Award for Best Film of the Year in 1934.
