The song became a sleeper hit, eventually reaching its peak position of number 11 for the UK singles chart and number 31 on the US Billboard Hot 100, following the release of the sequel The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012); Perri re-recorded the song for the sequel with vocals from Steve Kazee, and is also produced by Hodges.
