Acresuchus ("Acre crocodile") is an extinct monospecific genus of medium-sized caiman from the Late Miocene of western Brazil and Venezuela. The genus contains a single species, Acresuchus pachytemporalis. Acresuchus is a close relative of the giant caiman Purussaurus.
