Agapovsky District (Russian: Ага́повский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,603.6 square kilometers (1,005.3 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Agapovka. Population: 34,779 (2010 Census); 37,816 (2002 Census); 35,919 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Agapovka accounts for 18.9% of the district's total population.
