Akbar Ayub Khan (born 17 July 1971) is a Pakistani politician who is currently serving as a member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has held several ministerial positions including Minister of Communication and Works, Education, Local Government, and Rural Development, with additional responsibilities for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Human Rights. A member of the Tareen tribe, he served in the provincial assembly from 2014 to 2018, 2018 to 2023, and from 2024 onward. Before entering politics he had a career in business. He is the grandson of former President of Pakistan, Field Marshal Ayub Khan.
