Akbulaksky District (Russian: Акбула́кский райо́н; Kazakh: Ақбұлақ ауданы, Aqbulaq aýdany), also known as Ak-Bulaksky District (Ак-Булакский район), is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 5,000 square kilometers (1,900 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Akbulak. Population: 25,606 (2010 Census); 30,723 (2002 Census); 29,683 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Akbulak accounts for 54.4% of the total district's population.
