Alcyone and Ceyx

In Greek mythology, Alcyone (or dubiously Halcyone) (/ælˈsəˌni, hælˈsəˌni/; Ancient Greek: Ἀλκυόνη, romanized: Alkyónē) and Ceyx (/ˈsɪks/; Κήϋξ, Kḗÿx) were a wife and husband who incurred the wrath of the god Zeus for their romantic hubris.
