Alex Lewis (born June 11, 1981) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL draft. He played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers where he currently holds the record for most sacks in a game with 6.5 on October 18, 2003 vs. Purdue
