Alexander Tairov

Alexander Yakovlevich Tairov (Russian: Алекса́ндр Я́ковлевич Таи́ров; Ukrainian: Олександр Якович Таїров; 6 July 1885 – 5 September 1950) was a leading innovator and theatre director in Russia before and during the Soviet era.
