Prof. Ali Hasimy (born Muhammad Ali Hasyim, March 28, 1914 – January 18, 1998) was an Indonesian writer, cleric, and regional figure of Aceh.
He is also known as a freedom fighter, political figure, and served as the Governor of Aceh province for two terms, from 1957–1964.
