Alvin Kenneth Hellerstein (born December 28, 1933) is an American lawyer and jurist serving as a senior United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Hellerstein was appointed in 1998 by President Bill Clinton and he assumed senior status in 2011. He has presided over several high-profile cases, including the Harvey Weinstein trial.
