André Gomes Magalhães de Almeida (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐ̃ˈdɾɛ alˈmɐjðɐ]; born 10 September 1990) is a Portuguese retired professional footballer who spent most of his career playing for Benfica, mainly as a right-back but on occasion as a defensive midfielder or left-back. He earned 8 caps for the Portugal national team from 2013 to 2015.
