Argyra (mythology)

In Greek mythology, Argyra (/ˈɑːrɪrə/; Ancient Greek: Ἀργυρᾶ, romanized: Argurã, lit.'silvery') was one of the Naiads, a nymph who lived in a well. There was a city in ancient Achaea, also named Argyra, that was the site of a spring.
