Arthur Hayes (born 1985) is an American entrepreneur, and a co-founder and former CEO of cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX. Hayes was reported as being the youngest African American crypto billionaire in history. In 2022, Hayes pled guilty to a United States Bank Secrecy Act violation and was sentenced to six months of home detention, two years of probation, and a $10 million fine. but was later pardoned by Donald Trump.
