Ashiya (芦屋市, Ashiya-shi) is a city in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 June 2024, the city had an estimated population of 92,976 in 43,229 households and a population density of 5,000 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 53.44 square kilometres (20.63 sq mi). It has a reputation as a high-end residential area.
