Major League Cricket (MLC) is a professional Twenty20 (T20) cricket league in the United States organized by American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) and sanctioned by USA Cricket. Founded in 2023, the league operates as a single entity consisting of six city-based franchises, which are operated by individual groups of investors.
Its inaugural season began on July 13, 2023; currently, MLC plays most of its matches at neutral venues (such as Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas, a former ballpark that ACE converted to a cricket stadium), with plans to eventually build dedicated cricket grounds for each team within their local market. The first two seasons were held in the month of July; the 2025 season moved the start of the season to June, and expanded to a 34-match season.
As of 2025, there have been two seasons of MLC; the Washington Freedom are the current defending champions, after having defeated the San Francisco Unicorns in the 2024 final. MLC also operates a sister developmental league known as Minor League Cricket (MiLC), which launched ahead of MLC in 2021.
