Atyuryevsky District (Russian: Атю́рьевский райо́н; Moksha: Атерень аймак, Atereń ajmak; Erzya: Атюрьбуе, Atüŕbuje) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-two in the Republic of Mordovia, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 826.1 square kilometers (319.0 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Atyuryevo. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 10,952, with the population of Atyuryevo accounting for 40.4% of that number.
