Awang bin Hassan (Jawi: اواڠ بن حسن; 9 November 1910 – 12 September 1998) was a Malaysian politician and doctor who served as the 5th Governor of Penang from 1981 until his retirement in 1989. He had previously served as the 7th Malaysian High Commissioner to Australia from 1973 to 1980.
