Ayta ash-Shaab (Arabic: عيتا الشعب; also transliterated Ayta al-Sha'b or Ayta al-Shab) is a municipality located in southern Lebanon, about 2.22 km northeast of the Israeli border. The majority of its population are Shia Muslims.
