Bačko Novo Selo (Serbian Cyrillic: Бачко Ново Село ⓘ) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Bač municipality, South Bačka District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Serb ethnic majority and a Bosniak minority. Its population numbering 1,228 people (2002 census). The village was formally known as Batsch Neudorf prior to World War Two. The etymology of the village comes from Slavic languages meaning new village, Novo Selo and Bačko from the region it’s in Bačka.
