Balou Station (Uyghur: بالۇ بېكىتى ) is a station on the northern section of Ürümqi Metro Line 1. It is located at the intersection of Xinyi Road and Youhao North Road, at the junction of Youhao North Road, Saybag District, Ürümqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China, and Yinchuan Road, Xinshi District, and Liyushan Street. Its name comes from the local place name Balou. It opened on October 25, 2018. It is one of the six special stations on the line.
Balou Station is also a transfer station for Line 1 and Line 3. Line 3 is still under construction.
This is the only station bordering between Xinshi and Saybag District, while the rest are not.
