Bar-Giora (Hebrew: בר גיורא) was a Jewish militia in Palestine (then part of the Ottoman Empire) from 1907 to 1909. The group was composed primarily of Russian Jewish immigrants of the Second Aliyah. The organization was a precursor of Hashomer, itself a precursor of the Haganah and the Israel Defense Force.
