Barzani (tribe)

The Barzani tribe (Kurdish: Eşîra Barzanî) is a Kurdish tribe and tribal confederation of various neighboring tribes inhabiting Barzan in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The Barzanis are mostly Naqshbandi and one of the most influential tribes in Kurdistan.
