Bayevsky District (Russian: Ба́евский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the krai. The area of the district is 2,740 square kilometers (1,060 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Bayevo. Population: 10,979 (2010 Census); 13,601 (2002 Census); 14,963 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Bayevo accounts for 42.9% of the district's total population.
