Odoru daisosasen – The Movie (踊る大捜査線 THE MOVIE), known internationally as Bayside Shakedown, is a 1998 Japanese crime comedy film. The film was adapted from the 1997 television series Bayside Shakedown.
The film is set in Tokyo. The film initially focuses on the rivalry between two neighboring police precincts over jurisdiction in a new case. A Detective Sergeant is pushing for significant reforms, while his superiors are setting him up to take the fall in case of failure in a high-profile kidnapping case.
