She is best known for playing dramatic roles in romantic drama films. Her notable films include The Mistress (2012), A Second Chance (2015) and The Love Affair (2015). Alonzo's films have grossed ₱3.15 billion, making her one of the highest-grossing Filipino box office stars of all time.
