Bhovi

The Bhovi are a community in the region of the present-day state of Karnataka. They are also referred to as Bovi, Bayyar, Bhoyi and Bhoi. They are historically known for The people belonging to the Bhovi community were backward and used to work as palanquin carriers and farm workers about 200 years ago.
