Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai (born 24 November 1960), better known as B. R. Gavai, is an Indian jurist who is currently serving as the 52nd Chief Justice of India since 14 May 2025. He is a former judge of the Bombay High Court and he also currently serves as the chancellor of some National Law Universities (NLUs). He is also the ex officio patron-in-chief of National Legal Services Authority.
