William Emerson Brock III (November 23, 1930 – March 25, 2021) was an American politician from the state of Tennessee. A member of Republican Party, he served in both chambers of the United States Congress. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for four terms from 1963 to 1971 and a senator for one term from 1971 to 1977. He later served in the Cabinet of the United States from 1981 to 1987 under President of the United States Ronald Reagan. He was the grandson of William E. Brock Sr., a Democratic U.S. senator from Tennessee who served from 1929 to 1931.
