Brewster Lurton Kahle (/ˈbruːstər keɪl/ BROO-stər KAYL; born October 21, 1960) is an American digital librarian, computer engineer, and Internet entrepreneur. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and engineering. Kahle founded the Internet Archive (including Wayback Machine) and co-founded Alexa Internet in 1996. He was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2012.
