Bunyan I. Bryant Jr. (March 6, 1935 – March 28, 2024) was a Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan. In 1972, he became the first African American member of the School for Environment and Sustainability (then known as the School of Natural Resources) faculty at the University of Michigan. He was considered a pioneer in the field of environmental justice.
