Cam Akers (born June 22, 1999) is an American professional football running back for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles. Akers was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. He spent four seasons with the team, including the 2021 season where he tore his Achilles tendon. He returned for the postseason and was a part of the Super Bowl LVI championship team.
