Carbon-Blanc (French pronunciation: [kaʁbɔ̃ blɑ̃]; Occitan: Carbon Blanc) is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. The commune was created in 1853 when it was separated from neighboring Bassens by decree of Napoleon III.
