Carl Franks (born December 1, 1960) is a former American football coach and player. He most recently served as the running backs coach at Bethune–Cookman University. Franks served as the head football coach at Duke University from 1999 to 2003, compiling a record of 7–45. He played football at Duke where he was an Academic All-ACC selection.
