The taxon name, Cephalotaxus wilsoniana, is disputed by many authorities: A Chinese online database gives its revised name as Cephalotaxus sinensis var. wilsoniana, while Plants of the World Online and other authorities consider it to be the species Cephalotaxus harringtonii.
