Chahar Borj (Persian: چهاربرج) is a city in the Central District of Chaharborj County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. It is 23 kilometres (14 mi) from the south shore of Lake Urmia and 21 kilometres (13 mi) northwest of the city of Miandoab. As the village of Chahar Borj-e Qadim, it was the capital of Marhemetabad-e Shomali Rural District until the capital was transferred to the village of Shabanlu.
