Chamchamal (Kurdish: چهمچهماڵ, romanized: Çemçemal, Arabic: جمجمال) is a town located in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. it is the town which is nearest located to the disputed territories of Northern Iraq. Chamchamal is home to the Gorani-speaking Kurdish Hamawand tribe.
