Chebarkulsky District (Russian: Чебарку́льский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,879 square kilometers (1,112 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Chebarkul (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 29,606 (2010 Census); 29,251 (2002 Census); 34,244 (1989 Soviet census).
