Chennai Story

Chennai Story is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film directed by Philip John and produced by Guru Films, in the company of Ripple World Pictures. The film stars Viveik Kalra and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. It is an adaptation of Timeri N. Murari's best-selling 2004 novel The Arrangements of Love. The film follows Anu, a bisexual Tamil detective, who helps a Welsh-Tamil man find his estranged father.

In November 2021, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was announced to play in the lead role in Philip John's Arrangements of Love. However, Shruti replaced the actress. Principal photography began in April 2024. The film was sold at the EFM by Metro International.
