Chester Earl "Chet" Holifield (December 3, 1903 – February 6, 1995) was a 20th-century American businessman and politician, a United States representative from California's 19th congressional district. Holifield became known as "Mr. Atomic Energy" for his legislation promoting the development of nuclear power.
