Clifton is a village in Clark and Greene counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. The Greene County portion of Clifton is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Clark County portion is part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 131 at the 2020 census. The village is located about 24 miles east of central Dayton.
Clifton is home to the Clifton Mill, one of the largest water-powered grist mills still in existence. Adjacent is the 1886 Clifton Mill Covered Bridge. The village is also home to the historic 1893 Clifton Opera House.
